Takoma Park gives you access to organic food, exercise, yoga, boutique shops and international entertainment, all within a short walk. And what a walk! Lovely rolling hills, big broad trees and quiet neighborhoods -PW
Takoma Park still has its annual House and Garden Tour, its 4th of July parade, and its Street Festival. And the residents of the town still retain their individual flair.
Takoma Park and The Takoma are my home. -JV
I was definitely attracted to Takoma Park since I first moved to the DC area in December, 2005. I like the idea of a small town feeling, yet being connected to a larger urban setting. There does seem to be an intention, that´s hard to describe, more of an invitation for the residents to be a part of the community, to feel they can take an active role in creating a good way of life. -DF

What people say about The Takoma...
The building feels like a home. We've lived here for five years and have gotten spoiled by its easy access to Sligo Creek Park, the Takoma-Silver Spring Co-op and the Metro. But most of all, we've gotten spoiled by our friends and neighbors, whom we've gotten to know and love since living in this great building. -PW
I was thrilled when it was announced that the building was converting to condos. After 20 years The Takoma AKA The Wedgewood is my home and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I'm delighted with the smoothness that NOVO has accomplished the renovations and conversion. -JV
What people say about NOVO Development...
The entire team, from the developer to sales to construction, worked as a team to deliver what they promised. Always a pleasure to work with, and flexible when situations demanded it. I'd recommend them to any apartment building wanting to become a condominium. -PW
I don’t live there yet – and I am a bit nervous about it – but you guys have done such a great job, it’s nearly quelled my fears!! -SF
My experience with NOVO has been positive, everyone has been very open about describing the building and was able to work around my work schedule to allow me to come visit later than six numerous times. -DF
The building is attractive, since it is on a quiet side street but within walking distance of the town center. It feels well situated, built into the earth, on a rising slope with the u shape going backwards...it feels protected. The garden offers a bit of green on which to rest the eyes and in warmer temperatures, to amble about in with tranquility. The lobby offers an inviting, comfortable place to hang out, with a design true to the era of the buildings beginnings, with a contemporary feel. -DF
